Great outdoor seating! This place is practically in the middle of the bay. Everywhere you sit you have gorgeous views of the water and yachts. It's beautiful day or night. Such a cool spot. The buffalo wings are fresh and the sauce is delicious. The pelican burger is DELISH. Everything tasted fresh. Service is great, they servers are attentive and very friendly. I am deducting one star because their bathroom is small and SO HOT inside. I swear I thought I was going to pass out when I went in there. Boiling hot! Also my friend's fish tacos were overcooked. But overall a great experience and would definitely come back here.

I really want to give this place 5 stars because the service is incredible. Unfortunately the food is not 5 stars. The good: sweet potato fries and ropa vieja The bad: Nothing else was great. I ordered the brisket sandwich. The pretzel bread was good but it felt like all the flavors were competing. I was not too impressed. My wife ordered the burger and she felt the same way. The ugly: the conch fritters were really bad. The conch was over cooked. It was really hard and rubbery. Again, we liked the service. The guy was cool And really attentive. If I were you I'd come here for the happy hour and the ropa Vieja. I didn't have luck with anything else.

Casual atmosphere in a beautiful setting at the end of a pier in a marina filled with the biggest yachts I've ever seen up close! Our food was very good. We had a problem with the appetizer, but our server (Korryn) handled it immediately and a manager personally greeted us and apologized. We appreciated the extra care. We enjoyed the local florida beer. Id recommend the conch fritters, & sweet potato fries. The burgers and chicken sandwich were yummy. Desserts were interesting but just ok. The sunset view was worth the entire visit! Gorgeous! Great place for sunset drinks and apps would be my suggestion.

Place was on point. Beautiful lunch spot where you sit perched, eating Raphael (our server) was the man. Super accommodating and made some great recommendations. Beef brisket sandwich was off the charts. Great place, and well worth the search to find.

Judging from the other reviews, it seems like a hit and miss type place. I visited on a weeknight and there were a few families there but hardly packed. The service incredibly slow. The food and drinks were good however.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend and was excited to have a great Ft. Lauderdale lunch on the water. It wasn't easy to find being tucked away in the Hyatt docks, but we were on a mission to find it! If you valet or self park you can get your ticket validated at the restaurant. The views in this restaurant are the only thing that would bring me back. We were a table of 2.5 - myself, my husband and our one year old son. They were very accommodating and quick with a high chair. We ordered fries for him and they arrived quickly. I ordered a Bloody Mary that for $13 I felt should have knocked my socks off. My second one took a very long time to arrive to which the waitress explained "They needed to get more mix" Now for $13 please don't admit to me that you needed to go get another bottle of Mr. & Mrs. T! The ceviche was overpriced for what you got (I know you're paying for the atmosphere), but the Zona Fresca in Plantation makes much better, with much more fish and shrimp for half the price. I will say the plantain chips were very good. Our order was delivered wrong at first, but was quickly corrected. (We ordered two orders of fish tacos, but one was mistaken for chicken?) They were ok.... Ok. All in all it took longer than expected and we paid more than expected. We left feeling it wasn't a good value for the $. It's a very cool atmosphere and reading others reviews it seems like it would be cool at night, but not sure it's worth returning to.

Hard to find and seemingly meant for locals and yacht people. Laid back place on the pier surrounded by million dollar yachts. Food was spot on and atomspherr kid friendly. Great place to drink a funky Buddha and eat fish while watching the sunset. Get there early as it is small and gets busy quick

Beautiful view. Conch fritters great but the fish tacos very tasteless. Needs cilantro or anything with flavor. Great service

Great views of the water and beautiful boats on the marina. Service was fantastic. Food is only reason I wouldn't say 4 stars. It was fine but nothing to be excited about. Ordered shrimp ceviche, very average.

This place was a bit pricey and they were out of some of the local beers. However the view is beautiful, service was great, and the food is decent.

Love this place! Great service and good food! Monitors are great and the view couldn't get any better!!

The view is amazing. The food and drinks fantastic! Most importantly the front of the house makes the dining experience complete. Very attentive and accommodating! I will stay at the Hyatt just to be in walking distance of the Pelican from now on.

Walked here from the W because I found it on Yelp. Didn't realize quite how far away it was. Took us a full hour along a busy road. Don't know that I would do the walk again. But we took the bus back & it was just a short 5-10 minute ride. 2 of us had the excellent chimichurri steak. Fantastic. Nice little mixed green salad, a few onion rings & some potato wedges. I'd rather have all onion rings and no potato wedges. Third friend had the chicken sandwich without the bun. Nice little side of guacamole & she had the yummy sweet potato fries. No beer on tap only bottles. Don't think there was any happy hour available or our waiter didn't mention it. The atmosphere of the place is pretty casual. Better suited for a lunch when you're out boating. Service was pleasant & quick.

This little spot isn't easy to find, but if you can meander around the docks behind the Hyatt Hotel for a while, and ask a few people, you'll get there. It's not fancy, and has a limited menu, but they have a couple of TVs playing whatever sports are on, the servers are friendly and the beer is cold. Three of us shared conch fritters, then one had a cheeseburger and two of us went for fish tacos. They were pretty unique, with lots of raw vegetables covering very big portions of fish. The sauce was delicate, but tasty, and the fish was grilled, rather than fried. Three tacos was too much for us to manage, but you definitely got your money's worth. Our friend really enjoyed her cheeseburger, so it was a successful meal on every level. I'd go while it's still light out, so you can enjoy looking at the boats the robber-barons stash in the marina. One of the few places I've been where a 250 ft yacht makes you look like a piker!

We had a wonderful afternoon her today the view is worth million dollars.this my favorite spot in fort lauderdale. I going to missed south Florida.

Right on the water, great views. Fish tacos were absolutely amazing. Kind of weird though as the people next to us were smoking - not used to that being from Washington.

Super nice views from the patio. Bartender was nice, friendly, and professional. Manager was nice, but had an intense energy. Waitstaff seemed young. Strange combination of retirees, and bros doing shots of Fireball. The ceviche was meh, but I would totally recommend coming here for a drink.

The restaurants view and lovely staff are what really make the spot. Drinks are good and food is yummy but feels like should be higher end for the price. Its atmosphere is awesome as the boats all around give a wonderful vibe for a bar.

Food was nothing special and overpriced. The drink menu is limited. Raphael was unfriendly and slow.

This place sucks! It was honestly the worst restaurant I've been to. The view is great but the service sucks the food isn't even great I was honestly better off going to burger kind, I'd have better service and better tasting food. They managed to screw up my order twice. And apparently this happens a lot because all the waiter could say tomorrow might be better WOW. I honestly would never recommend anyone to waste there money in this place. Honestly you're better off at BK or even McDonald's. BEWARE! DONT DO IT!

This place is so nice. Great view. Good food. Very friendly staff. Our waiter was hilarious and everything was perfect. We came on a sunday night so the place was pretty empty, but that is exactly what we were looking for. ProTip: Park as far west in the hotel lot as you can. The restaurant is a bit hidden. You have to navigate your way through to the marina. Its quite a hike if you park right when you enter the lot.

This place is awesome! Staff is all very friendly, fish tacos were fabulous and the view is impeccable. We will definitely be back!

First off, I want to mention the wait staff and in particular Katrina... She was AWESOME!!!! Everything you would want in a waitress. friendly inviting and very informative. The meal itself was excellent as I had the Fish Tacos with magi magi. I could not do anything to improve upon them. Do yourself a favor and visit. And ask for Katrina. You can not go wrong!!

I was excited about the conch fritters after reading the reviews and they were good. The mahi dish with the salad was fresh. I also ordered prosecco and wish it would have been chilled a bit more. The views of the water are nice and make for a nice lunch atmosphere. Overall not bad.

Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. Got here on sun trolly, $1 person each wY, beach line get off at Hyatt, short but lovely walk. On water, great views of yachts, plenty water activity.

View is great but food is just OK. The atmosphere is not romantic but rather party- like. Unfortunately the waiters were more interested in flirting with girls than service.

Hmm. I have a skewed view and please take the review with a grain of salt... The food is 2.5 stars for me. It is very classic American-diner/hotel food here. And since it is operated by the Hyatt, I guess it kind of make sense. But I have hoping for more. I ordered their daily fish, which is usually what I order when I do not know what to order on the menu because everything looks ordinary. I ended up with swordfish (blackened), which is not fair to the restaurant because it is almost always dry and very lean. (I note my wife's salmon was cooked quite well, and moist, however.) I peeped over and looked at my wife's dish, and the salad looked very very ordinary and sad as well. Oh well. On a positive note, the waitresses here were super nice. The service was a 5. And had this been a sunny - as opposed to rainy - day, this place probably would have had a beautiful view.

If you find yourself in Ft. Lauderdale in need of a spot to relax and catch some awesome water views, look no further than Pelican Landing. Located on the grounds of the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 hotel property, you'll have a bit of a walk ahead of you to find the 2nd-floor terrace of Pelican Landing, but your wandering will be worth it the moment to take in the stunning sunset view. The food is nothing special (at least the seafood trio and shrimp cocktail apps we indulged in), and our wine was served in plastic wine glasses, but the view was out of control! Another plus - they validate parking. I will definitely be back to enjoy a refreshing drink and a killer sunset view!

Nice second story, open air view of all the yachts and the water. Food and service was also very good!

Pelican Landing located within the Pier 66 complex of the Hyatt happens to be one of those hidden gems of a place that not all that many people know about. It isn't advertised all that much and there aren't many signs noting its existence. To get to it you pull into the Hyatt, enter the parking area and drive to the far end closest to the Intracoastal Waterfront. Then, walk to the pier, Pier A, fronting the Intracoastal, and take it to the very end where you will see a boxy looking building, climb the stairs to the second floor and there it is. Though I can't say I'm a fan of their food (the fish Burritos or daily fish specials are the best) it's good, has specials, excellent service, and a well-stocked bar offering some really decent but somewhat pricey cocktail drinks. What I am a fan of is the view along with its setting. You just couldn't ask for better views. When looking west from the patio you are overlooking the Intracoastal, the 17th Causeway Bridge along with all of the boats, many of them multimillion dollar megayachts as the come in from or go out of Port Everglades. The view toward the west is that of Pier 66 docks having some of the most lavish, expensive drop dead gorgeous yachts to be seen anywhere in the world. The atmosphere is super relaxed and the patrons can be of a rather mixed bag of the yacht workers and crews as well as the super wealthy yacht owners, all just having an enjoyable waterfront time while taking in the impressive views. It's one of the very few waterfront locations offering an unrushed casual atmosphere which is mostly made possible because of its somewhat remote, "away from it," location at the end of pier that is free of vehicular traffic. TIP: Don't forget to have them validate your parking ticket or you'll end up paying for it! .

Pelican burger average, at best. Served with cheese, tomato, a "special sauce" and in my case a small wilted piece of lettuce. French fries were served cold to slightly warm. Best thing is the beautiful view. Waitress, although very busy, was very nice.

I am giving the three stars only because of the beautiful location on the pier. It's just lovely to sit feel the ocean breeze and see all the million-dollar yachts. First of all I would like to say that the staff was great. All the yelp reviews about the staff were correct. Had a really good experience. I chose to go here because many people had good reviews about the mahi-mahi burrito. I have to say that that was a big disappointment. The burrito came out and was presented well. But the mahi-mahi was overcooked and the fish was very dry. On top of that they just put only black beans inside the burrito. So the black beans were dry. The fish was Dry. And it was not very flavorful at all. I should also note that the guacamole is package it is not made fresh. It taste like there's a lot of preservatives in it. The mango sauce that they serve with the burrito is also not made fresh. And it does not fit with the burrito... The combination of the burrito plus guacamole plus the mango did not create a good flavor combination. The waiter suggested I try the seafood chowder. It is a tomato-based Chona. And it really did not taste like a chowder. It tasted like an Italian vegetable soup. I asked the waiter where the true seafood chowder spice was in the soup ... because it was so tasteless. He said oh I can get you some spice and he went and got me a bottle of Tabasco sauce. Lol. Then I started to ask the staff about all the other food. Because they wanted to give me something to replace the burrito. But as I started going line item by line item through the menu. I discovered nothing was fresh. They have only fresh oysters, shrimp cocktail and catch of the day. Everything else including the crabcakes conch and all other offerings of seafood are frozen or packaged. They also have no draft beers. Limited wine selection. And the bottled beer selection is also horrible. I was disappointed to see the good reviews on yelp... But then to get there and have a less than admirable experience with the quality and freshness of food. It's really a nice place to sit and watch the ships go by... But don't expect anything more than great ambience. If you're looking for great food... Try another place

I Had a great time here. The view was amazing and the food was great. The service was very friendly and quick. Our sever Korryn was excellent. Will definitely come back to see her. The only issue was the red headed bus boy was a bit rude and unfriendly. Kind of made us feel uncomfortable. Other than that was a great experience.

While the location on the intercoastal is nice, the food was overpriced for what you received. I ordered the fish tacos and there were two, with no sides. The price, $14.00, was a little steep for that. The hamburger my husband ordered, while good and cooked the way he wanted, was $15. Our service was okay. We were a party of 8 and not all of the entrees came out together. Also, water was only refilled once. The server was nice but just to laid back. Also did not enjoy barely being able to read the menu and not being able to see my food. Most of the seating is on a deck and there was no lighting, except for what glowed from the interior. Would definitely not go back.

Four and a Half Really! I have Tried the Pelican Landing's Burger at the Burger Battle, it was the Braised Short Rib, Bacon Chili, Rocket Lettuce,Aged English Cheddar it was memorably delicious, and never been to Pelican Landing, and heard about the view. We park and walk around huge Yachts docked down the pier and up some stairs to Pelican's Landing. My Fiance was hungry so Pelican House Salad ($9)Grape Tomatoes, Carrots, Cucumbers and Dressing we chose Balsamic was ordered. The baby lettuces were really nice I even distinguished beet greens. I ordered the Pelican House Salad with Grilled Fresh Mahi Mahi ($16) and the Mahi was flake on your for melt in your mouth delicious I didn't need the tartar sauce at all. My Fiance ordered the Grilled Skirt Steak ($16) Argentinean Chimichurri with Onion Rings or Steak Fries, he subbed for a Side salad. The Steak was good he was Happy but the fish was def better! The waiter was great he just moved from Vegas and kept our waters filled and was very friendly. After our meal I saw he moved to bartender position so my Man had to get up to ask for the bill, and he thought we were enjoying the view, no Big Deal because I haven't mentioned how great the view IS! The View of the Bridge, or the boats coming back from the day its very relaxing. If you check in on Yelp its 10% off and if you come on the Boat Taxi they give you 15% off. Also they validate your parking ticket so your parking is Free. The half star would be for the Price for the Quantity of food you get here.

This place is awesome. Not only do you have to get through an insane amount of big badass boats to get here, but when you get here, you still have a view of an insane amount of big badass boats. It was sweet. We only had drinks because we had just gotten out of our wedding tasting, but they were good. The manager recommended the aviator drink I recommend you all get that as well. I'll be back after my wedding and plan on telling my guests to stop in as well

We showed up on Sunday around 12:00. We were 1 of 3 tables that were sitting outside so it wasn't busy. We ordered a bottle, a drink and the Conch Fritters. We did tell the server that we would wait to order after we got the appetizer....which the fitters were AMAZING!! After we ate the appetizer we ordered our lunch. Several minutes went by and I noticed that 3 tables that came in after us were already eating. I got up walked to the server at the pick up window and asked where our food was? I then asked for my check and said we wouldn't be waiting for the food. He looked perplexed as did the Cooks? He said he would check on the food and let me know. I went back to the table and waited about 2 minutes before he finally came over and said that "they forgot" . He did comp the appetizer and 1 drink which I felt was very fair. We would probably go back but we would order our appetizer and meal at the same time to avoid this issue again.

What a nice meal on a beautiful overcast day in south FL. Not crowded on a hot and overcast Sunday, we sat down on the patio overlooking the intracoastal, with a great view of the water, downtown and all the boats going in and out. Server was very attentive and friendly. I had the crab cake sliders and they were excellent. My friends liked the fish burrito and steak that they had as well. I have been to the Pelican Landing before while at the Hyatt for a conference and this was a different experience. Nice to be able to wear shorts and just chill. Thanks to the breeze it was fine to sit up there and take our time. They didn't rush us out either. On a sunny and hot day it would be hard to stay up there for long without lots of sun screen. But if you want a south Florida experience, you should grab lunch or a drink at the Pelican Landing and then walk around and check out all the big yachts. You can pretend to be part of the 1% for a few hours.

THIS!!! THIS is why I Yelp! The husband and I were going back and forth trying to find a place to eat for dinner. We didn't want anything too expensive so I was scrolling through Yelp and he was scrolling through Google reviews. I stumbled upon Pelican Landing and he couldn't even find it on Google reviews, so he was skeptical. I talked him into it and we took a taxi to the Hyatt Pier 66. Then we walked and followed more signs and walked and walked and found ourselves out on a Pier way off of the street... clearly something we would have NEVER found on our own, but with good views. We sat down and this place is clearly a hotel bar for the Hyatt. We sat inside because there wasn't any shade outside and within moments it was HOT and sweaty. No breeze inside. There was also an obnoxious birthday party for someone in their 30s going on and a fairly loud guitarist.. not shaping up well. It looked like Yelp was about to fail me. However.... then the clouds parted and gods of Yelped shined down to restore my faith in all things Yelp-y. We ordered the ceviche. The ceviche itself was really good. Not the best ever... but very good with lots of shrimp. However, the plantain chips served with the ceviche were the best! Salted to perfection. Crispy. I am SO trying to make these at home. SO good. Things were starting to look up. We ordered some more beers and then decided to split the fish burrito with mango creme. This was the worst decision of my life.. and by that I mean SHARING IT was the worst decision of my life. IT WAS INCREDIBLE. The fish was grilled to perfection and the mango creme sauce was just stupid delicious. This will sound weird, but it kinda tasted like buttered popcorn, but mango.. I realize that makes no sense, but PLEASE go try it and you will agree. The mango sauce is served on the side too for those concerned. Even though we split the entree, they served it to us on our own plates (awesome service) and thank god for that because it would have been a blood bath if we were trying to share the mango creme sauce or the burrito. It also came with a side of chips and guac on each plate. The chips were solid, but the guac was, I believe, was just Wholly Guacamole... so nothing stand out, but the focus was not on the guac. It was on the tortilla wrapped baby Jesus I was holding in my hands. This was an incredible meal. I will come back here next time we are in Fort Lauderdale, but for now this burrito will only be in my dreams.

Amazing find for lunch. It's a little hard to find- not actually in the Hyatt but down to the last pier of the marina- but the location is stunning once you get there. There's a great view of the bridge and the river. Food is great as well. The crab cake sliders were delicious, and I especially recommend the pelican burger. One of my favorite spots on Fort Lauderdale!

Come for: blackened salmon, the view, the service Skip: blackened swordfish Came here for lunch on a Saturday and ordered the blackened salmon with a side salad. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was a generous portion. My husband got the swordsfish with herbed fries. He wasn't a fan of his and his fries were a little soggy for our taste but not bad. The service was great! Sitting outside was wonderful, until it started pouring! Luckily we were still covered by the overhang but not from the crows that hangout there waiting for food.

10% off Yelp check in offer? Good times! The Hus and i walked over from our hotel and took in the great view then went on up to the Pelican Landing. Someone had ordered a burger which was delivered as we walked up. It smelled delicious. Sadly i wasn't too too hungry so we just stuck with a couple of Yeungling's and a Shrimp Cocktail to share while we soaked up the scenery. The staff helped us promptly and were courteous. Definitely a great spot.

Super fresh seafood. Friendly and helpful staff. Offered water for our dogs. Nice view. Relaxing place for lunch. You have to pay to enter the Hyatt parking lot but Pelican Landing will gladly stamp your parking voucher for complimentary parking. Will def go back.

This is definitely one of the bright spots of the hotel. The food is good, drinks are good, and the view is pretty nice as well (yachts and boats sailing by pretty often). The ideal time to take in the view is probably during the sun set. I'm not sure how busy it gets, but if you are staying on the premises, this is definitely a place to check out. I will say one thing though, they don't have an elevator or ramp if you have a child, and the staff watched me trek up my child and stroller at the same time without offering assistance.

Love this hidden waterfront dining restaurant. We always come here by boat and the food is amazing. Crab cake sliders and fish burritos are top notch.

So disappointed! Brought the family here for a fun time. We had the worst service ever. Server ignored us and simply didn't care. We walked out.

Came here during the boat show and had the BEST time! The view of the yachts below was great. The staff was even better! Adam sat us at our table and immediately I felt like he was an old friend! He even brought us out cheesecake lollipops after dinner. Katrina was a great server as well. Shrimp ceviche, fish tacos, and the swordfish were all very very good! Will definitely be back to visit and see Adam again! He did an outstanding job of making our dinner memorable!

If you want fresh, local seafood in Ft. Lauderdale, this is the place! What I really enjoyed is the outdoor seating and great view of the river. Our server was really cool and laid back. All his recommendations were spot on and exactly what we were looking for! We started out with the conch fritters. They were fried perfectly; not too much or too little batter. Then I had the fish burrito which was out of this world! To top it off, we used our 10% Yelp check in coupon. We couldn't have asked for a better lunch!

Amazing the view is perfect the food was GREAT had the blacked swordfish amazing . The only thing I wish for was a bigger menu and lower the prices

Food was good...service reasonable . seating is mostly outside, so if the weather is cool then they can only seat about 20 inside.
(4)
Oneil W.
Food and views are great but staff may need some additional customer service training. Our wait person got a bit fiesty with our host towards the end and they had a table of about 15 people sitting out in the hot sun with no umbrellas to shade us. Someone should have considered these details, especially since we were the largest group they had there at the time.
(3)

Best place in the resort. The service is attentive and friendly, and the happy hour specials make everything amazing.

Wings, sword fish, onion rings and everything we had are excellent. Wait staff is very hospitable. We were asked several times how they could make our experience better. Outstanding! Views are outstanding, be sure to sit outside.

Food was quite good. Service was ok. They honoured the Yelp check in offer and were patient with kids. We ensured that we cleaned up and left a good tip. I was disappointed that they didn't offer to stamp our voucher for parking; when paying at least $10 extra for parking for an already expensive meal, you think that they would let us know about the stamp before our departure. But after we received our meals, they didn't really bother with us again. I would certainly return, but be prepared to pay hotel prices with average service. Worth it for the view, however.

This place has one of the best waterfront views in South FL. It's way out overlooking the far docks on the edge of the Pier 66 grounds. Awesome view of the 17th St Causeway Bridge and Intracoastal. We had an early dinner here and it was perfect for catching the sunset. They had a guitar player singing and playing reggae songs that was pretty decent. The menu is limited, but priced very reasonably considering the view. Entrees run between $10 for a massive hotdog (easily 2 meals) and $23 or so for fish. I had the Pelican Landing burger ($15) which was braised short rib, bacon chili, lettuce and aged cheddar - superb. My lady had a skirt steak with delicious chimichurri and huge steak fries ($17). They also have some good cocktails. Beer selection could be better but they do have Blue Moon and Sam Adams. The only thing I tried a bite of that wasn't great was my stepdaughter's tandori chicken pita - the sauce had a weird taste to it, but it wasn't terrible. Service was excellent and I will probably bring friends or relatives from out of town here next time they visit for some good food and an outstanding view of Fort Lauderdale.

Ana S.
Horrible service and mediocre food. Fish burrito was ok, however everything else we ordered was pretty bad. Clam chowder was watery and the seafood used looked liked fish bait. Didn't taste like anything either. Fish of the day, swordfish, was over seasoned to mask the absence of any taste. House salad tasted like fertilizer or like it had not been washed. Our server had an attitude, although others seemed nicer. Also, when we gave the credit card to pay, the server brought back only the credit card slip and not the itemized bill that already included 18 percent tip. It seemed a bit sneaky.

Pelican Landing is just right. From a food snob...outstanding blackened swordfish and ceviche. Need a few craft brews then perfect.

OMG This is one of those reviews I know I'm gonna regret ever writing. I don't want anyone to find out about his place - it's my special, secret hideout. And I'm guessing since I'm only the second one to review them, not many people have heard of this place either. It's really hard to find, so good luck! It's actually at the end of a long, complex series of docks - bordered by yachts and sailboats galore. On the second floor overlooking the intercoastal and most of the port, this place has the best brunch atmosphere I've found in Fort Lauderdale. The food is great, true the menu is NOT pages upon pages of choices but they have great items and fresh fish at VERY reasonable prices. They have a variety of fresh fish you can choose from to be beer battered, fried, and served with sweet potatoes or asparagus. So good - and I don't even like fish and chips!!! Here's a link to their menu: hyatt.com/hyatt/images/h… . Happy hunting!! ps- hold onto your parking ticket, they validate too...

Fantastic place! View, food, service, all great!!!
Our office staff visited Pelican's Landing after a tour on the Water Taxi, I must say we are still talking about it. We are searching for another place closer to work for tonight because we all work in Hollywood, but this place is by far the Best Happy Hour and the service is spectacular!!! Well worth it and what a beautiful view!!! You can take the Water Taxi and have a nice romantic dinner...and follow it up with your favorite dancing spot to complete the evening.

Cool place on the Causeway. You can eat inside or outside. Good seafood.

Great view and ambiance, but sadly, that's where it all ends. Lackluster food and service that leaves a lot to be desired. I don't think I'd go back unless it solely was for drinks

Very great place to use as a home base for all of Fort Lauderdale. The rooms are nice, the grounds are pretty, and it's very convenient to the beach.

The view was spectacular. There are tons of outside seating and I would do a dance for the weather gods asking for a rain free night so that you would be able to sit outside. The burger was listed as part of the South Beach Food and Wine List and I can understand why. It is all kinds of yummy. There is the bacon chili with short ribs and cheese along with the patty itself. The chili in it which you would think may be too much but it helps keep the burger juicy. I asked for onions and the kick from that gave it a little something extra. Everything complemented each other. The sweetness from the ribs and the heartiness of the chili along with the cheese and lettuce made this burger quite delectable. I also had a bite of the skirt steak and that was so tender and flavorful. The chimichurri sauce is so good that I ate it with the fries as well. The price tag wasn't awful but more on the expensive side. If you are able to sit outside and enjoy the view and get either the burger or steak; it is worth the splurge.

This place is located inside Pier 66 so you have to go through the parking gate and get a ticket to reach it. Don't worry, they validate parking so its free! You have to ask them though, they don't offer. In terms of the ambiance, its actually a pretty neat spot, its on the second floor and has an open patio overlooking the ICW. At the time we went though Spielberg's yacht was blocking our view LOL... apparently $1M/day to charter that bad boy. Its right by all the docks so you can walk around and check out the boats after or before checking out the restaurant. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is the service is a little lackadaisical. They do not know much about the food and are slow on the service (it took 20 minutes just to get drinks). The food is nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. The menu is pretty limited too.

It doesn't take much to make me happy - a cocktail, a warm breeze and a waterfront view are at the top of my list. Pelican Landing has all this in spades. Came here for a co-worker's birthday celebration, and I totally fell in love. It's tucked away in back of the Pier 66 marina, and so worth the effort to find it. The view is spectacular - you're on the canal and it's totally picturesque. The menu is mostly seafood, but a friend ordered the hummus & olives, and I had a couple bites - really delicious. I drank their watermelon concoction (half off on happy hour! and half off apps, too! Score!), and it was very sweet - but yummy. Our waiter was totally nice, and put in a second happy hour order for us so we could get in before 7pm. At one point I think our server was cut, and no one came to our table for like an hour, but we asked and eventually someone new came along - that was the only hiccup, but it couldn't spoil the experience. If this place was in my neighborhood, I'd be here constantly, soaking up the sun and sipping yummy cocktails. A must visit if you're in the FLL area. Also - they validate parking and it's free! Double score!

I concur, this is a hidden gem. As mentioned, this place is alittle hard to find. The best advice I can give is look for Steven Spielberg's big ass yacht the Seven Seas and this place is right behind it. Not much to this place, but what the dude or dudette is pumping out of that small kitchen is some good $hit. On two visits we had the conch fritters, shrimp cocktail, onions rings, and ceviche. The fritters were spot on, served in a small fry basket (see pic). They had a nice fluffy texture with nice pieces of conch dotted throughout. The shrimp cocktail were nice sized shrimp served with plantain chips (see pic). The onion rings had a nice batter that was not greasy at all (see pic). We asked for a side of ranch to dip them in. The ceviche was pretty solid (see pic). Made with tilapia, lime, etc... it packed a good flavor punch. This too was served with the plantain chips which I used to scoop out this heavenly mixture. You know what the best part about these apps were, they were half off....whoooo hooo! My wife and I went during happy hour, 4p-7p Monday thru Friday and certain drinks and apps are discounted. A guy who was sitting next to me at the bar ordered a cheese burger and that thing looked delicious. Service was excellent and the view was pretty killer even though Mr. E.T.'s yacht was blocking our view to the west. Just a great place to escape and enjoy why some of us are blessed to live in South Florida. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

The atmosphere is fantastic and gives you a wonderful view. Drinks are a bit pricey but tasty. The food was delicious. The fish burrito was AMAZING! Friday night they have live music - steel drums - which makes the atmosphere even better!

I love this place for lunch. It's kind of a tradition, when my in-laws pick us up from the airport, we go right here for lunch, before we ever even go to the condo to unload our things! Have a glass of wine, order the blackened fish burrito with mango sour cream (MMMMMMMmmmmm....) and look at the massive boats docked right there. Love this place. My husband loves their long island teas, and they have great salads.

My family is local, but we lunched here today for the first time with my NYC-dwelling in-laws. A great find for us - the food is solid, simple and well-prepared. It's not going to be the best you've eaten, but it's tasty. The intracoastal atmosphere and ship-gazing opportunities are spectacular. The service was mostly great; they were a bit slow to take our orders, but otherwise we have no complaints. They obliged when we asked that they turn down the music. For a good, relaxing lunch in a unique location, it's hard to beat.

This place is super nice, it's in a second floor of the management of the marina and the ambient is quite modern. The view is stellar, surrounded by water canals and many big and fancy yachts right in the marina give to this little restaurant and unique and exclusive position among the restaurants of its class. I went on December 2011 and as you can figured I was inside because the weather was killing me and my wife, but they also have outdoor seating available which is super nice for a dinner with your couple. Price is nothing like I was expecting, for the location and quality of food I was expecting to spend almost three times of what I actually sent. Entries are average $15.00. Tip: don't forget to ask them to validate your parking ticket, so you will park for free (if for any reason you lose your ticket, they can stamp your receipt and that will work as a parking ticket) I least that's what happened to me :)

This place was wonderful I had to write a review!!! In fact I also wrote a review on their site. The food was Amazing and the view was so beautiful my co-workers and I were still talking about it the next morning. The Servers were unbelievable the atmosphere perfect! We found a new spot to celebrate happy hour among friends. This place is also perfect for an nice romantic evening. We had the conch fritters, coconut shrimp, cervichie....everything was perfect!!

My husband and I arrived into Ft. Lauderdale one night before our cruise and stayed at the Hyatt Pier 66. We had big intentions for our friday night in Florida- but we were pooped!! After a grueling week of work to get ready for vacation and then little sleep- we decided to grab dinner at the hotel and get to bed early. We tried the Pelican Landing, which once we found it (the hotel property is pretty expansive and the restaurant is located in an area that you would not think was the hotel grounds)- but we made it finally. It was about an hour from closing, so we had no trouble getting a table, we ordered our dinner- I had a yummy cheeseburger with fries and the hubby had ceviche and something else that I can't remember now..but the ceviche was different than what he's used to having at home- but we think that is the difference between mexican ceviche vs. non-mexican ceviche. Dinner was good and we had an excellent waitress- she was very friendly and took time to chat with us at the end of her shift. overall, a very enjoyable dinner on the marina with lots of pretty yachts to look at- some so big they looked like mini-cruise ships!

Sure, this place has hotel prices and uninspired food. (Since when do toasts, hummus and olives count as $18 tapas?!) Yea, the soundtrack is definitely courtesy of some 24/7 Yanni satellite radio channel. But, the waterfront view and a light breeze on a sunny day kind of make it all okay. Just make sure to bring your wallet.

I was on vacation, obviously. My boyfriend and I were staying at the Hyatt, and we came here for lunch because we were recommended. Service was S*it. Maaaannn it was bad! My boyfriend was immediately given his drink, and finished his first and started his second before mine was brought over. And he was not chugging. I ordered a mojito. I'm a bartender, and a mojito does not take a half hour to make, friends. Our food took even longer to come out, and what was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into an extremely long lunch. There were plenty of waiters, and it wasn't packed. It was busy, but the amount of staff they had working should have alleviated everything. It seemed as though there was a waiter for every two tables. (again I work in the industry). Our waiter was not apologetic, would quickly place plates and drinks down without any contact. And trust me...all of this reflected in the tip. The food was actually amazing. I had a fish soft taco thing. It was delicious. It's honestly too bad service was crap - because otherwise it would have been great and I probably would have gone for lunch again that week. It's in a nice spot, and the patio isn't too shabby. But next time I visit, I won't go there. Too expensive for crap service.

we only came here for happy hour and after experiencing it, i am not sure why you would go someplace else. this place is very casual and the crowd was a mix of all types and the view was great. relaxing, quiet and on the water. the drink prices for happy hour were great and the food was even better. 2/3 of their appetizers are 1/2 off including the ceviche. $6 for ceviche (made with tilapia when we were there) and it was probably one of the best ceviches i have had. we also had an order of onion rings that for $5 could have satisfied 4 adults. this place is hidden but as we do business in the area and usually stay at the hilton or renaissance, i will be sure to come back again to unwind after a long work day.

Pretty good food, probably best swordfish I've had under $20. Laid back atmosphere, pretty empty on a weekday @630pm. Pretty good service, and cheap prices - it'll fit on your corporate per diem. Pretty nice views of the area as well.

Shhhhh...just between us Yelpers...this is one of my fave spots in FLL. It's still a bit of a secret, but when the weather is right, Pelican Landing encapsulates all that is good about Fort Lauderdale. Come-as-you-are casual. It's on the water. It's al fresco. There are waitresses in skimpy clothing (good or bad...you be the judge). You're surrounded by beautiful boats. The food is simple, unpretentious and well prepared. The place is a little hard to find...it's at the Hyatt just off of 17th in the Pier 66 marina at the very end of the pier. We went on a recent Saturday afternoon and the planets were definitely aligned. Sunny, breezy in the mid seventies. Busy but not mobbed. Service was laid back and friendly and the crowd was a mix of tourists, locals and "boat people." The food, like the vibe, is casual and Florida inspired. Make sure to ask your server about parking as you have to park in a pay lot and walk a bit to get to the restaurant. The restaurant will provide you with a card to give to the parking lot attendant. Recent sampling: Fish Burrito (mahi I believe) with mango sour cream: Man this is the stuff. The burrito is pressed as well to give it a firm, crisp outer texture. Hummus and marinated cippolini onions, olives, sundried tomatoes: Hummus is standard fare, but those onions rock my socks Ceviche: shrimp on my last visit - uber tasty Crab Yucca Fritters - yum. Watermelon Mojito: raw cane sugar, big pieces of actual watermelon...have 2 or 3 and all will be well with the world. They have live music at night (waitress told me from 6-7PM) and dinner features a raw bar with oysters, crab legs, stone crab claws ($2.50 apiece).

5 star view of the intercoastal, Ft. Lauderdale and the beach. Drinks are decent, but pricey (gotta pay for the view). Food OK, but the choices are limited. Service excellent. You have to go looking for this place, though - it's well hidden.

(2)Shawna B.
(4)Kyle S.
Place was on point. Beautiful lunch spot where you sit perched, eating Raphael (our server) was the man. Super accommodating and made some great recommendations. Beef brisket sandwich was off the charts. Great place, and well worth the search to find.
(5)D T.

(2)Robert S.
(5)Gazelle A.
Beautiful view. Conch fritters great but the fish tacos very tasteless. Needs cilantro or anything with flavor. Great service
(4)Sophie N.
Great views of the water and beautiful boats on the marina. Service was fantastic. Food is only reason I wouldn't say 4 stars. It was fine but nothing to be excited about. Ordered shrimp ceviche, very average.
(3)Van S.
This place was a bit pricey and they were out of some of the local beers. However the view is beautiful, service was great, and the food is decent.
(3)Justin S.
Love this place! Great service and good food! Monitors are great and the view couldn't get any better!!
(5)Sabrina H.
The view is amazing. The food and drinks fantastic! Most importantly the front of the house makes the dining experience complete. Very attentive and accommodating! I will stay at the Hyatt just to be in walking distance of the Pelican from now on.
(5)Susan W.
(3)Susan M.
(4)Patricia P.
We had a wonderful afternoon her today the view is worth million dollars.this my favorite spot in fort lauderdale. I going to missed south Florida.
(5)Daniel M.
Right on the water, great views. Fish tacos were absolutely amazing. Kind of weird though as the people next to us were smoking - not used to that being from Washington.
(4)Ron R.
Great view of the beautiful marina. Had the Ropa Vieja and tostones appetizer. Love it! Very good!
(4)Cha Cha M.
(3)alberto B.
The restaurants view and lovely staff are what really make the spot. Drinks are good and food is yummy but feels like should be higher end for the price. Its atmosphere is awesome as the boats all around give a wonderful vibe for a bar.
(3)Craig T.
Food was nothing special and overpriced. The drink menu is limited. Raphael was unfriendly and slow.
(2)Jerome T.
Very good service. Friendly staff and manager. Good fish tacos and ceviche. Dessert was unique with cheese cake pops. Tasty edpresso. Great view.
(4)Matt C.
Awesome spot. Great place to grab a beer and watch the multi-million dollar yachts. Great service too!
(5)Timothy V.
Tiny place, great service, great mahi burrito, good drinks, fantastic view, dogs welcome!
(5)John W.
BEWARE! DONT DO IT!
(1)Joey P.
(5)Deb E.
This place is awesome! Staff is all very friendly, fish tacos were fabulous and the view is impeccable. We will definitely be back!
(5)Adam B.
(5)Carla D.
I was excited about the conch fritters after reading the reviews and they were good. The mahi dish with the salad was fresh. I also ordered prosecco and wish it would have been chilled a bit more. The views of the water are nice and make for a nice lunch atmosphere. Overall not bad.
(3)Steven M.
Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service. Got here on sun trolly, $1 person each wY, beach line get off at Hyatt, short but lovely walk. On water, great views of yachts, plenty water activity.
(5)Victoria W.
View is great but food is just OK. The atmosphere is not romantic but rather party- like. Unfortunately the waiters were more interested in flirting with girls than service.
(2)Mark M.
(3)Eve C.
(4)Rick G.
Nice second story, open air view of all the yachts and the water. Food and service was also very good!
(5)Marqus R.
TIP: Don't forget to have them validate your parking ticket or you'll end up paying for it! .
(4)Scott M.
Pelican burger average, at best. Served with cheese, tomato, a "special sauce" and in my case a small wilted piece of lettuce. French fries were served cold to slightly warm. Best thing is the beautiful view. Waitress, although very busy, was very nice.
(2)Ashton A.
(3)Shane H.
(5)Ann L.

I'll be back after my wedding and plan on telling my guests to stop in as well
(4)Julian P.
great view, not a very out of the box menu.
(3)Robert F.
Had the Fisk tacos for lunch which were fine but watching the boats leaving the boat show was great.

(5)Lise N.
(4)Elroy M.
Great. Food and great place The deck overlook the water, service was quick, had fish tacos that were fresh and wings were good and hot
(4)Nicole R.
(4)PK L.
Super fresh seafood. Friendly and helpful staff. Offered water for our dogs. Nice view. Relaxing place for lunch. You have to pay to enter the Hyatt parking lot but Pelican Landing will gladly stamp your parking voucher for complimentary parking. Will def go back.
(5)Dan E.
(3)Scott R.
Great atmosphere and view at night. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, serivice was unexpectedly fast, especially for New Years Day.
(5)Jakisha W.
If you're looking for a nice dinner this is the place to go. Its pricy! But worth every penny!
(5)Daniel M.
Love this hidden waterfront dining restaurant. We always come here by boat and the food is amazing. Crab cake sliders and fish burritos are top notch.
(5)Dan H.
So disappointed! Brought the family here for a fun time. We had the worst service ever. Server ignored us and simply didn't care. We walked out.
(1)Dee D.
(5)Hesham E.
(4)Joe T.
Amazing the view is perfect the food was GREAT had the blacked swordfish amazing . The only thing I wish for was a bigger menu and lower the prices
(5)Matthew C.
Food was good...service reasonable . seating is mostly outside, so if the weather is cool then they can only seat about 20 inside.
(4)Oneil W.
Food and views are great but staff may need some additional customer service training. Our wait person got a bit fiesty with our host towards the end and they had a table of about 15 people sitting out in the hot sun with no umbrellas to shade us. Someone should have considered these details, especially since we were the largest group they had there at the time.
(3)Kim P.
Best place in the resort. The service is attentive and friendly, and the happy hour specials make everything amazing.
(5)Chuck J.
Wings, sword fish, onion rings and everything we had are excellent. Wait staff is very hospitable. We were asked several times how they could make our experience better. Outstanding! Views are outstanding, be sure to sit outside.
(5)J N.
(3)Jeremy B.
(4)Ana S.
(2)Jim L.
Pelican Landing is just right. From a food snob...outstanding blackened swordfish and ceviche. Need a few craft brews then perfect.
(5)Deven B.

My fiancé and I enjoyed the walk over to the restaurant from the hotel after traveling 3000 miles across the country? We were glad to be here and wanted a good drink and to relax next to such a fabulous setting. We sat ourselves, it was not busy and ordered the Pelican drink and a margarita on the rocks. The margarita came in a PLASTIC 12 oz cup that was filled to the top with ice. The Pelican drink was a strawberry smoothie with little to no alcohol, also in a plastic cup. This is he type of drink you would find at the local dive bar for $6 but when we got the bill, we just about fell over. The strawberry drink was $10 which was on the menu but the margarita was $12. For dinner, we bought the mahi-mahi grilled and the salmon blackened. It came with one side which we both had the salad. It was a good amount of salad and the fish was about 5oz and tasted good. We hoped it would come with a side of bread or another side but not this time. The cost was $18. Our waiter Gary stayed very busy with his tables and would come over whenever I caught his eye. We asked what type of beers they had on draft and he named off here but brought us a Blue Moon in a bottle with a plastic cup He brought what I asked but was not personable, he only asked how everything was at the end of the meal and had no reply when I said fair. We got the bill and was not happy with the margarita cost or the overall service and wanted to let the manager know. Gary got very defensive and argumentative when we explained our disappointment in the meal stating he had asked how things were throughout the meal but in truth, he only asked once and did not spend anytime at our table to find out. Gary went immediately to call the manager because he was not on the premises and came back to say he'd be there in just 2 minutes. He then came back to say it would be 15-20 minutes but he took off the cost of the beverage. The main point of us talking to the manager was to try to let the management know our disappointmennt so others would not be. We found out that this restaurant is run by Hyatt and just as we found out at the restaurant in the Hyatt at lake Tahoe that they need a new and better food and beverage director that can bring the quality up to meet he value that is being served. Let's hope that changes will be made to the restaurants so we don't have to hesitate eating where we are staying.

(5)Allen M.
Cool place on the Causeway. You can eat inside or outside. Good seafood.
(4)Danny V.
Great view and ambiance, but sadly, that's where it all ends. Lackluster food and service that leaves a lot to be desired. I don't think I'd go back unless it solely was for drinks
(2)Bryce C.
Very great place to use as a home base for all of Fort Lauderdale. The rooms are nice, the grounds are pretty, and it's very convenient to the beach.
(5)Eve C.
(4)Colleen R.
(4)Hannah S.
(5)Dan I. C.
(5)Marie H.
Excellent!! Everything was great and I am a tough crowd!
(5)Mike H.
Great little place, super friendly staff, amazing Fish burrito, and great ceviche!! Be sure to check in and use that 10% off
(5)Julie L.
The atmosphere is fantastic and gives you a wonderful view. Drinks are a bit pricey but tasty. The food was delicious. The fish burrito was AMAZING! Friday night they have live music - steel drums - which makes the atmosphere even better!
(5)Tara S.
(4)Jared B.
(4)Fern B.
(5)Wendy J.
(5)Pam H.
(4)Steve M.

(2)dana m.
we only came here for happy hour and after experiencing it, i am not sure why you would go someplace else. this place is very casual and the crowd was a mix of all types and the view was great. relaxing, quiet and on the water. the drink prices for happy hour were great and the food was even better.
(4)Mark K.
Not a bad place, nice view of some amazing pier. We had the fish burrito and burger which were both decent.
(3)Leo C.
Pretty good food, probably best swordfish I've had under $20. Laid back atmosphere, pretty empty on a weekday @630pm. Pretty good service, and cheap prices - it'll fit on your corporate per diem. Pretty nice views of the area as well.
(4)Michael T.
Beautiful view! Fish burritos, skirt steak, mahi mahi and Parmesan asparagus was delicious. Service was awesome and the atmosphere was incredible! I highly recommend this place! 5 star service would definitely recommend daniel to get as a waiter .. Spectacular service
(5)gregory t.
Dirty, very poor staff! Walk over to Pier 66 and have a nice cocktail and great apps for the same money as this dump!
(1)Erica B.
So yummy! Great food, service, beautiful sunset!!! Secret gem! Drinks are extremely expensive though.
(5)Robert L.
Good food and fair prices. Our waiter however was in-attentative and very slow
(4)Michael M.
(4)Kevin M.
5 star view of the intercoastal, Ft. Lauderdale and the beach. Drinks are decent, but pricey (gotta pay for the view). Food OK, but the choices are limited. Service excellent. You have to go looking for this place, though - it's well hidden.
(3)
